Elopak Group and Amitec Group have strengthened their co-operation. Elopak Group has sold the production of Materials Handling equipment to Amipac Oy, a subsidiary of Amitec Group on 15th of September, 2009.

All employees of Elopak Materials Handling unit are transferred into Amipac Oy as old employees. The Materials Handling operations will continue uninterrupted in the Järvenpää premises.

Mr. Jouni Hakola, M.Sc. (Eng) has been appointed Managing Director of Amipac Oy.

Co-operation contract

Elopak Group and Amitec Group have signed a long term co-operation contract. According to the contract Amipac Oy will supply material handling equipment to Elopak’s sales net work worldwide in the future. The co-operation contract also secures the supply of maintenance services and spare parts to the customers for the next ten years.

In Finland and Baltic countries Elopak Oy will continue as the total system supplier to the dairies and to the juice plants, including materials handling solutions in the present extent. Pekka Ylänen, Technical Manager of Elopak Oy Finland and Baltic countries, will continue in his present function being responsible for the filling machines sales, service functions and the sales of materials handling equipment.
