VALIO OY, Riihimäki milk industry

Processing system of returnable packing units

More than 300 million litres of milk is produced in Riihimäki annually. Extensively automated system using returnable units is unique in Finland and it is not easy to find a system in the same scope in milk industry anywhere else in the world. The washing lines manage to wash all 25 000 distribution units within an hour.

We were involved in the project already in the initial design phase. We produced and installed 14 washing and drying lines, almost 2 kilometres of conveyors. 5 robots are liable for organisation of the warehouses.

Equipment and duct installations

Ingman Foods Oy Ab is a private, reliable milk processor. The concern consumes about 300 million litres of milk annually. Amitec Oy was liable for installation of the process equipment and pipelines of the milk industry. The project continuing for two years contained installation of more than 100 appliances and production/installation of almost 30 service levels and installation of more than 10 kilometres of process pipeline. When finished the dairy was the biggest milk industry of the Northern countries.  

HARTWALL OY, Lahti production unit 

Almost 350 litres of drinks are produced in the world most automated brewery and drinks factory. Amitec Oy installed processing pipeline and production supporting pipeline to the factory finished in the spring of 2003. Almost 50 kilometres of pipeline with the diameter of 10-500 mm was installed.
